While in Osaka, I visited the Osaka Aquarium KAIYUKAN which is one of the largest’s aquariums in the world.
Another stop of my Japan trip was the familiar Osaka. I’ve been there twice before, but it’s a different experience every time!
Back in September, I visited Japan with friends traveling through Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto. I previously visited Kyoto in 2009 (blog posts here), but saw completely different sights during this visit.
My last set of photos from Hong Kong feature the stunning views from the famous Victoria Peak, more commonly known locally as simply The Peak.

The town of Stanley on the south of Hong Kong Island offers a change of pace from the busy atmosphere of the denser parts of Hong Kong. It is near the beautiful, but oddly named Repulse Bay, which is anything but repulsive.

Wong Tai Sin Temple is a major tourist attraction in Hong Kong, and a well known shrine. It was constructed only a century ago, in the 1920’s, but it is a protected heritage area now. Continue reading
