Summer is wrapping up, and the leaves are changing colours here in Calgary. Here are a few of my favourite photos from the summer.
- The city skyline is colourful at all times of the year, but the summer greenery makes it complete. Notice how so many buildings are now taller than the Calgary Tower.
- Eau Claire Park is a beautiful spot to spend time at lunch downtown, and look at the some of city’s most expensive condos.
- Although controversial initially, the Peace Bridge is very popular and a nice addition to the city’s landscape.
- City Hall overlooks Olympic Plaza
- Sun peeks through this art installation at City Hall.
- The city skyline, always with cranes visible, fades away in the distance when looking from the East Village area. This is a relaxing spot to walk next to the river.
- A faint rainbow ends near the location of my new condo. I take possession in October, and will likely post more then!
- Summer hasn’t even ended yet, and Calgary had a heavy snowfall.
- Since the trees are still green, many branches were damaged. A messy downtown gives a preview of what’s to come for winter!

You have a wonderful way of portraying the city – thanks!
