Nose Hill Park in Spring

Nose Hill Park is one of the largest municipal parks in North America, and is best described as a retreat from city life, and an oasis in which to enjoy nature. Since being designated a protected area in the 1980’s, Nose Hill is one of Calgary’s success stories in preservation.

I visited Nose Hill on several different days just before sunset. Perhaps you will share my view that this park can be simply majestic at times.

  1. Nice pictures but you’re the first person I’ve heard refer to that puddle as a lake. A pond, maybe.

  2. Hi Paul,
These pictures are beautiful. I love this park myself, I enjoy to walk many hours with my dogs and human and of course furry friends. Your pictures just captured everything why we enjoy it so muchâ?º

  3. I liked your pictures very much. I have been on the Hill since it began and a bit before. Now if the city does not get too eager to
    to improve it!!!!!
