A few weeks ago, I documented my visit to Chinatown for Dim Sum with my brand new Canon lens. I don’t usually take photos of my food (since I prefer not to delay eating), but this time was an exception!
- Chinatown is on the northeast edge of downtown. This shows the road coming to downtown from the west. The Calgary Tower is visible from this end, but is overshadowed by several larger buildings on the left.
- Dim Sum food is often delivered to your table in containers that look like this. Sometimes you order specific items. Other times, restaurant staff come around with carts and ask if you want the item they have.
- A lot of Dim Sum food contains seafood which I don’t eat, but these items contain only pork or beef.
- Dessert consisted of these very hot, but delicious tarts.
